Hello there!  My name is Ellen.  

I am a writer, illustrator and child wrangler.  As I type this, my son just chewed a hole in my sweater.  Some things have to suffer for art.  Including my clothing.


I used to be an avid blogger back in the day.  But then life got busy with children and art.  When you have to choose between blogging and showering, your loved ones appreciate if you choose the latter.  I promise I will drink more coffee and try harder, though.

Things That Irritate Me: passive aggressive people, slow drivers, talking on the phone, the fact that my daughter keeps having her teacher pull her loose teeth and I want to do it, by golly

Good Things About Me: I am a pretty good mother, I am good in a crisis, I eat vegetables

Bad Things About Me:  lazy lazy lazy, I watch too much television, I bend my ear toward juicy gossip
